Thanks to Cartoon Brew for paying attention.

No need to panic, it's only a new film from the best animator we have: Hayao Miyazaki. It is called Ponyo on the Cliff or some such. If you haven't seen all of his other movies, you are simply wasting your time. No I am not kidding. I don't care if you are 5 or 50. Go see all of these movies immediately. Then get ready for this new movie.

Here are some great sci-fi covers courtesy of John K. I never read these books, but I often admire the wacky covers. Now I can enjoy several of them at once!

I would enjoy Mr Potato Head 4x as much if I had 8 arms.

My wife crocheted a matryoshka this morning while I was sleeping. What would she do without me?

Make sure you wade into the waters of Questionaut, the latest from Amanita Design. They are very consistently terrific.

I agree with metafilter - if you must drink, drink from this.

This is exactly why not so many blogs are needed. Especially this one. Everything you need is already at WFMU blog. Go, and understand.

Ow! Very lovely images from Edmund Dulac at Animation Archive. Go!

Once you get your muse, you are sort of stuck with her. Even if the rest of the world shrieks with confusion. If you learn that you are to make dioramas of albino squirrels in the basement of your funeral home, well, just do what your muse says.

That is a stylish bird. From EnglishRussia blog.

This has everything possible in the world. The Internet Potato Chip Mascot Gallery.

Again, this is from WFMU blog. I am but a shadow on the wall of the cave.

Again, this is free. When I was growing up, this would have cost lots of money to see.

How do you perform on this quiz?

This guy has a show coming up somewhere but I left the newspaper on the T and I can't find any mention of it online. I'll let you know where it is later. SKUNK!

Yes Probot Productions is still turning the world upside down. I will have Spielberg's awesome German glasses. And I will ride around in a Fisher-Price Mini-Bus.
