I don't particularly like cats, but I think this sounds like Thelonious Monk playing some short Satie pieces. After listening to a bunch of Steve Reich.
And also, this is good news! Shane Acker's wonderful short "9" will be made into some sort of feature film. It will probly not be boring, and it could be super eerie. Stay tuned at Shane's site. Heads up from Cartoon Brew!
